1979年，詩遍全國的一年，有一個機會，表哥帶我到寶雞的詩人【渭水】家里，走在一個老小區(qū)的小樓，竟有去天堂的感受！我坐在那個狹小的二樓小家，竟然是那么凌亂的的，普通的，一個工人的家庭！他的詩在陜西已經(jīng)是頂呱呱了！我被詩捏去魂了，不知自己生活的貧困，不知自己家庭的破碎，甚至不知自己的前途渺茫！

我的第一首詩，【夢】
如夢境一般
清晨到河邊
紅色的河岸圓形的石泉我舀起滿是驢糞的泉水
我喝一半，驢喝一半。

我是用黃土高原的枯樹燒的金黃的黃米做的

不一定是好詩，確實是我當時的真實生活寫照。詩意是一種高度的感情，與精煉的語言結(jié)合體。是一種個人修行的最高表現(xiàn)。三年后，我把我的全部詩集交給延安市文化館的美女詩人，她的詩在全國有名，她的美麗是氣質(zhì)，高貴的不得了！在她的面前，我不敢大膽的呼吸，靜靜的聽她給我指出我的詩的缺點，只有一首詩，受到她的喜歡，她說，在【延安文藝】發(fā)一首你的詩。我欣喜若狂！

別了詩歌，我不得不面對現(xiàn)實，考延大英語系26分落敗，到延安去，聽說第一個美術(shù)學校招生了，我在農(nóng)村買了20斤蕎面榛子，可以做涼粉的那種，送到文化局局長那里，直接不要，但是，我的誠意打動了局長，我可以去學習了！告別了志丹，告別了詩！我要為考西安美院而沖刺了！現(xiàn)實是殘酷的，我只有小學4年級的水平，我的美術(shù)是零！25歲是考美院的最后期限，那年，我23歲了！只有兩年時間，我要越過初中的文科書籍，我要越過高中的文科書籍，更重要的是，我要越過美術(shù)高考的關(guān)口！我能成功嗎？聽上去這是要挑戰(zhàn)不可能！
